Colorful strips of fabric – each quilted using an individual design – and “quilted-only” strips have been pieced to give the impression of a loosely woven, delicate, almost fragile fabric.
The slight sheen of the cotton sateen background fabric and the strictly geometric cross-hatching quilting set off the loose weave even more.
